Instructors
San Diego Baseball Camps is dedicated in providing the highest caliber baseball instruction in San Diego County. We formed this company to give back to our young people some of the skills, and practices we have learned over the years. Our goal is to develop positive habits and fundamentals both on and off the field. To reinforce the need to do the right things over, and over and over again, to help achieve a high level of success.
Nate Boman

Hometown Allied Gardens, San Diego, Ca. Left handed pitcher, AGLL and Patriot league Alumni, All CIF selection at Patrick Henry (2003), Played 3 years at USD (2003-2006), USD all-time leader in K's per 9 innings, Team USA invitee summer 2005, 9th round DRAFT choice by the Los Angeles Angels Sept 2006. Currently coaching the 9U, 12U & 13U Scripps Ranch Renegades travel ball teams. Nate has given private lessons for 5+ years.
Mike Pieratt
Co-Owner / Instructor
Hometown San Carlos, San Diego, Ca. All City player at Crawford High School. Played baseball at SDSU in the 70’s. Has more than 20 years of coaching experience. Has worked in the management of two Olympics (Los Angeles, South Korea), Patrick Henry High School pitching coach over 10 years. Mike has been active in the San Diego area for many years, working in the community planning area, and having done extensive work with area youth.
Nick Farren
Instructor
Hometown San Diego, CA. All Eastern League Catcher/Infielder at Patrick Henry High School. Played at College of San Mateo in 2005. Led team in bating average. Head JV baseball coach at Patrick Henry (2007-2010). Nick has given private lessons for the last four years, and currently coaches San Diego Aztecs 18U and Scripps Ranch Renegades 14U travelball teams.
Jordan Abruzzo
Instructor
Hometown El Cajon, CA. Switch Hitting Catcher/Infielder, All-CIF selection at El Capitan High School, Played 4 yrs at USD (all time hits and RBI leader), 13th round draft selection by the NY Mets 2007, 2008 Single A South Atlantic League All-Star. Jordan has given private lessons over 4+ years. Currently Coaches at USD.
Cameron Selik
Instructor
Born and raised in San Diego California. Was a High School catcher at Patrick Henry High School and turned full time pitcher during his two years playing Junior College ball locally at Grossmont College. Recovered from Tommy John surgery in 2007 to have a successful career at the University of Kansas and drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 22nd round of the 2010 draft. He has played two seasons in the organization and first being with Short Season Vermont Lake Monsters of the New York Penn league strictly out of the bullpen and recently in 2011 with Low A Hagerstown Suns and High A Potomac Nationals in the Carolina league as a starting pitcher.
